MFA Thesis Project/ San Francisco Bicycle Safety

Objective

Develop an MFA thesis by defining a problem, distilling information, and  creating a solution through a graphic design approach. The design solution will Successfully reach its intended audience on multiple levels and across multiple design platforms.

Approach

Many streets in San Francisco have no bicycle lanes and bicycle accidents often happen in the city. My target Audience is 20 to 35-year-old urban young people in San Francisco. I aim to reduce the death rate and injuries amongst cyclists through graphic design. I used yellow and black color stripe to remind people of safety. Use simple design elements and strong color combinations to create contrast and maximum visual impact.
