Playful
Objective
Choose one abstract image you designed and one typographic inspiration These would be the references for the whose design process. Combine the two images into several variations and then combine those into three related posters. The title, Playful, and the subtitle, Inspiration, need to be part of each design. The goal is to filter the quality of the starting images and to use this quality in the combinations of image and typography.
Approach
I chose a black and white geometric shape as the starting position. Then, I combined it into a spiral layout of typography as my ending position. I used abstract expression to show all the variations and bring the results into a certain order. The final deliverables were a process brochure and a poster series.
